Melon baller.

I had a young man come into the store when I had housewares, and he was looking for a useless gift for his new wife. He said, every year, he bought his mom a baster, as a joke and wanted to start the tradition with his wife. He wanted something that could be useful, but not used. I suggested a melon baller, and when I explained to him what it did, he said, she would never use it, it's perfect.

A few years ago, a dashboard hula girl showed up at ours, and my BIL and DF fought traded back and forth over it until y DF won it.

POD on the leg lamp and Chia Pet- classic kitsch! And last year I saw what I consider to be the tackest thing I've seen in a long time- a Justin Bieber Singing Toothbrush. Gaack!

A Justin Bieber singing toothbrush!!!

I love it, love it, love it!

Wouldn't that be the perfect thing for a secret Santa at work?

Yes, that would be magnificent.

I've threatened any relatives bent on a needless gift swap this year with receiving one- and they know I'll do it, too.  >:D
