NY Cop Buys Boots For Homeless Man

A NY cop bought a pair of boots and thermal socks for a homeless man on the streets.  A tourist filmed him on her cell phone and posted it.

Stories like this drive a friend of mine nuts.  Her DH is a NY cop and they (the cops) do stuff like this all the time but most the time, the only stories reported are about bad situations.

So 3 cheers for the boys in blue!

I felt so sad when I read the homeless man was barefoot again; he was afraid of being killed for his shoes  :'(

The article I read says he wants money for his picture being used without his permission.   ::)  No good deed goes unpunished...
