During the Christmas season, I've been keeping a basket filled with candy outside my door (small condo building). Last night I came home to find handmade thank you notes, complete with drawings, from my upstairs neighbors (ages 6 and 8).

When I was on the phone last night with my mother, I told her about it and she said she saw a letter to the editor of the Indianapolis newspaper from a woman who received a thank you letter in her mailbox from a neighbor boy. He was thanking her for the candy she gave him during Trick or Treat.
