Trivia Night at My Place

(1/3) > >>

Flora Louise:
If you were invited to a night of trivia games what would you want to munch on?

I've got 8 guests coming. I want something more special than chips and dip and I'd like to make several options for folks both sweet and savory.

Drinks will be hot punch  coffee, wine, beer, iced tea and water.

Other than a plate of Christmas cookies, I haven't given it any thought.

onyonryngs:
Crackers with different cheeses.  Hummus with warm pita triangles.  Some mini cupcakes or something for the sweet.

Actually, onion rings are sounding mysteriously good. (Horseradish sauce?)

There's a pretty good thread of easy appetizer recipes going on in the Recipe folder:

Might give you some ideas.

This is my new favorite thing to make for small parties: http://www.justapinch.com/recipes/main-course/pork/ooey-gooey-ham-and-cheese-sliders.html

The recipe calls for regular dinner rolls but it's even more delicious if you use the Hawaiian sweet rolls. It is seriously such a good snack that I look for chances to make them. I'm even making a batch in Christmas Day!!

Aside from those, I'd do maybe deviled eggs, homemade potato skins, mini crab cakes, cheese. & crackers, veggies & dip, spinach artichoke dip, cookies, cupcakes, crockpot meatballs...gosh, can you tell I'm hungry?
