Thanks for the help, everyone. The nuts do look good. And easier to make than spiced nuts.

Egg salad sounds refreshing for some reason. I did think about soup. I could do chili. Thick enough to be scooped with those large Fritos.

I do think I'll make something similar to crock pot meatballs. I have a great recipe for sausage balls made with hot sausage, Bisquik and cheddar that's easy and very popular.

My problem is, I love finger foods and could make way too much.
