That sounds really, really good. I agree with you that it sounds like a lot of effort for a small cheesecake, though. I'd love to know how this turns out.
Now I'm wondering if a slow cooker would work to cook a Christmas pudding? I have my husband's grandmother's recipe around here somewhere. I used to make it years ago, but the boiling was very messy, so I quit. It would be a nice surprise for him if I made this again.
