Favor from one of the UK posters?
« on: December 26, 2012, 02:08:18 PM »
I saw this today (and have managed to stop hyperventilating now, thank you for asking) http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-20838728, and was wondering if one of the UK EHellions would be willing to find out if the set(s) will be available all at once, or will the designs be dribbled out piecemeal?
I really want to get my hands on these, purely for Fan Girl reasons =)

I'm going to call and see if I can preorder a set -- the website only lets UK residents register for the sets and I am in the US. My daughter is a big Doctor Who can and this would be a great gift for her 17th birthday in April.

Holly Dalek oO that is amazing!
Bless the day my godmother decided to work for the british post!

A few years ago they had stamps for the Royal Shakespear Company and later on turned them into postcard (I have Hamlet/ David Tennant on my wall), I really hope they do the same here!

This would be a great present for my best friend, who is a long-time Doctor Who fan.

I also have a huge DW fan for a friend, and she'd love some.  As I am also in the US, I'd love to get some!

I'm sure they'll wind up on ebay, for anyone who can't find a UK hook up.

I don't want to know what they'll end up going for there...

They will be available on the 26th March 2013. A website called British First Day Covers also advertises them. You get them as a set, on an envelope which reflects the theme.

You will be able to order them online with a credit card- my British DH is a psychotic stamp collector. If you want to talk to him and get all the details of how and when and where to order, please PM me and I'll give you his FB page. He's always willing to take messages or friend requests for stamp interested folk.
