Playing games

The San Francisco Chronicle has a feature that profiles how individuals do things that are healthy. It's usually physical: an unusual sport, a marathon addict, a yoga practitioner. Today's feature is an older woman who plays a game with her husband, to help keep her mind sharp. I defy you to read this with a straight face.

Mind gets a workout with Scrabble

My favorite line: And I'm a very good Scrabble player, and these days I pretty much beat the pants off of [my husband].

The plural of anecdote is not data
