What does deer snot uprising mean?

Someone was taking notes of a "last ditch meeting" (I think with her parents - it was a "come to Jesus meeting" if you are from the Deep South in the USA).  When she looked at her notes later, the word "deer snot uprising" was what she'd jotted down instead....

On the other hand, the situation with her parents (father?  father-in-law?) was pretty nasty.  Which deer snot uprising would also be...

I remember hearing batpoo crazy (except the swear word was there) when I was a child, so it's definitely not from E-Hell.

That's right.  Someone came here specifically to post what she overheard.  Everyone loved it and it started using it in real life and found how effective it can be.

Nah, that one - in its various forms - is all over the place.  I like the "guanopsychosis" variant myself.

The story about the racist bagels came from a post about a 'Teacher Appreciation Day' breakfast.  Bagels, spreads, coffee and juice were provided for the teachers. 

Because bagels are associated with a particular religious and/or ethnic group, the Crazy HOA Lady filed a protest that the breakfast was 'racist'. 

Yes, some of the stories did seem a bit over the top but people like he crazy HOA Lady do exist.
