Intradermal flu vaccine- have you had it?

I hate shots.  BUT- because of my job I really have to get the vaccine this year. I'm hoping to get the new intradermal vaccine.  Has anyone had it?  It is too good to be true? My palms are sweating just thinking about it.

I have no experience with it, but do you have the nasal option? You sneeze a bit, and the initial snot/leakage issue requires a handy tissue, but it doesn't have needles.

I got it, and I barely noticed it. Then again, I'm pretty good with shots - I just can't look while they're happening.

I am just like Kendo_Bunny. I also got the intradermal but I also don't worry about shots. the reason I got it was flu shots were required at my workplace. When I went to the nurse, she asked if I would take the intradermal. They were new and she hadn't gotten to use them very much yet. She knew I didn't care about shots (from previous years) and she needed to get more experienced with them for people who did have needle anxieties.

As far as I could tell, it was slightly less painful than a regular needle. But it did go faster than a regular needle.

This was back at the End of October and i'm not sick yet!

 I put my big girl panties on today and went to the drugstore with my kids to get the flu vaccine.  Don't you know that when it's the pharmacist doing it you can't get the intradermal? Well- I sucked it up since my kiddos were going to have to get the regular one anyway.  I lived to tell about it!

 It really wasn't so bad.
