Kenyan Safari in June - Tips?

Trip of a lifetime fell into our lap far before we were expecting. It's a guided tour with a set itinerary, excellent ratings from trip advisor. Anything we should know? We won't be unescorted.

I don't have any advice but I'll be watching this thread with interest. I've always wanted to travel to Africa and was never organized enough to make a plan.

It didn't actually take much planning.  We got a deal on a tour. Everything is done for us except paying and enjoying.  :)

ETA I suppose I should clarify that I am looking for tips on spotting animals, trail etiquette and things we will wish we brought.
