Birthday part question
« on: March 14, 2013, 01:54:29 PM »
When should you send out invites for a kids birthday party? We plan it for the 3rd weekend in April on a Saturday afternoon. I was thinking to send it out next week before spring break but is that to soon?

I would say that 3-4 weeks in advance is good for a standard (at home) kids party.

I think it depends on the type of party and how many guests you're inviting.

If you're planning a huge hoopla? An earlier invite (like what you're thinking) would be the way to go. If you're planning on renting a bouncy-thing in your back yard or something at a venue that requires pre-payment for a minimum amount of guests? Then, Yes. Send out the invitations now.

Thanks! It will either be at my house or the in-laws due to them having a bigger house. It will be maybe around 10-20 people at most..and be a pizza and cake/ice cream thing..
