My Roomba!  I just got it this week after moving to a huge house with hardwood floors. What a lifesaver, especially with a five year old and a golden retriever.

My kitchen aid is up there along with the uber cheap single serving coffee pot!  Did everyone else get theirs at Menards last year?  I think they were $5 or so.

As for replacement parts for everything, the Mending Shed's website has helped me out in the past with broken appliances. Worth a shot.

1) whisks (a set of 3)
2) steamer (folds to sit in a pan)

I've been thinking on this for awhile, and it just hit me. My bed warmer. I turn it on and it warms up and sends me right to sleep. No worrying about cold sheets!

I don't need an electric blanket. I have a very snuggly cat and 60-pound dog. :)

Thought of another one - kneeling knee pad.  Great when cleaning bathtub.

There really should be a statue somewhere honoring the inventor of the electric blanket.
You must remember this: a ghoti is still a fish...

Dindrane, a friend of mine makes those knife racks.  Something very similar, anyway.  I have one, but she's making me a different that will fit exactly in the drawer I keep my knives in.  They are great.

I have *really* limited counterspace, so even that little knife holder won't work for me.  I got a magnetic strip, like this:

Actually, I have two of them lined up on a wall, and I call it 'my knife wall'.  It's awesome.

I also have a KitchenAid mixer.  LOVE that thing.  It's red.

We use a magnetic strip for our knives too.  It saves storage space in drawers, it keeps the knives handy but safely out of the way.  we've also heard that the impact of opening and closing drawers can damage the edges of knives.

Unfortunately, the repeated connection with the magnetic strip can damage the edge.  One must be very careful to lay the back of the blade against the strip first.
It's not what we gather along the way that matters.  It's what we scatter.
