This one is really easy; my sister makes it every Easter...

She slices up a ball of mozzarella cheese and on top of each round of cheese, she puts a slice of tomato and then drizzles Italian dressing over it. Very quick and tasty...and it looks nice on the platter :).

I have another version of this; buy the little grape tomatoes, and mozz. balls. put one of each on a toothpick, and drizzle with the dressing.

Thanks for the idea, guys!  I'm definitely adding this though I can't decide if I should use toothpicks or skewers.  I imagine the toothpick version would be easy to eat.

I've also seen recipes that call for balsamic vinegar. What do you guys think?  Add balsamic or not?

I've had the salad with and without the balsamic vinegar.  It's about 1000 times better with!

It was a HUGE hit and the kids have requested I make it again soon.  And yes, the balsamic vinegar has to go with it.  I tried it both ways and the balsamic vinegar added so much flavor.
