I'm a big fan of Skinnytaste, Smittenkitchen, Foodgawker, and Closet Cooking, too.

Another good one is http://budgetbytes.blogspot.com/ - the recipes are all broken down by cost. There are recipes for foccacia and Italian salami sandwiches (http://budgetbytes.blogspot.com/2012/12/italian-salami-sandwiches-793-recipe.html is the link to the sandwiches, and the recipe for foccacia is linked in there) that are AMAZING. And super easy to make.

The Smitten Kitchen!

http://smittenkitchen.com/

You beat me to it, MindsEye!

Her photography is gorgeous (I call it my food p0rn).  Her explanations and instructions never fail me... and I appreciate it when she goes into details about mistakes she made and what she had to do to correct them.

I also love the way she goes from personal stories, into the recipes, and back into the stories.  It makes it such an interesting read.

I like http://www.101cookbooks.com/.  The author has a mailing list which makes it super easy to save recipes to try later.

I'm a big, huge fan of www.foodily.com.  It's more an aggregator website, but it does the work so you don't have to.

Also...boolean search :)

One of my favorites - http://www.cookingforengineers.com/ . Wait, should I have posted this in the nerdhood thread instead?

www.epicurious.com, because its got such a great range of recipes.
I'm in Australia so I do have to look up some of the ingredients that have different names, such as cilantro, which is coriander here, or aren't  common here. And our tablespoon is 20ml not 15ml, plus we don't get butter in sticks.
Loooove the egg nog brulee recipe.

Oh my!  Where do I begin?

http://www.farmgirlfare.com/  - I especially love her Hearty Lentil Soup with Smoked Sausage soup.  Spectacular!

http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/   - I love her so much that I bought her book!

http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com/  - excellent for inexpensive good comfort food!

http://www.foodnetwork.com/  -  need I say more?

http://livewellnetwork.com/index  - saw some of these shows on tv.  LOVE THEM.

http://laylita.com/recipes/  - found my first beloved ceviche recipe here.

http://www.chow.com/recipes  - Chowhound is great for finding local restaurants, but there are recipes too!

I'll stop there, for now.  I have to go look up the other sites that were mentioned.
