Ideas for a cocktail party

<< < (2/2)

workerbee:
Could you do those little cocktail meatballs in a crock pot? Frozen meatballs with Heinz chili sauce and either canned cranberry sauce or jam. Super simple and it always seems to disappear at any potluck I've attended.

QueenfaninCA:
Salmon wheels:

Get some lavash (rectangular shaped thin flat-bread) but in a pinch toritllas or pita bread will do.

Mix cream cheese with chopped fresh dill.

Spread cream cheese/dill mixture evenly over lavash leaving a 1/2 inch spread-free area along one of the longer sides.

Cover the spread evenly with thinly sliced smoked salmon.

Roll up jelly-roll style towards the spread-free side.

Wrap tightly  in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least a couple of hours.

Unwrap and cut into 1/2 inch to 1 inch thick slices and serve.

Amara:
Deviled eggs.

katycoo:
Get a nice piece of rare roast beef.

Thinly slice, and marinate in sweet chilli sauce.

Serve sliced beef piled on diagonally cut clices of cucumber.

So simple, so tasty!
