I think.dome guidelines are reasonable because I am asked why kids don't perform better when tjey are  running on a gurfull pf cheetps  and fruitunch. That being said,.the restrictions OP faces seem a bit OTT.

one of my absolute favorite snacks as a kid was the simplest thing on earth: Cheerios and raisins. Just put some of each in a sandwich bag.

open-face half PB and fruit sandwich .... arrange berries in a cute pattern on top of peanut butter or nutella on half a slice of whole grain bread.
