Good News on the Etiquette Front

My sister is an assistant bank branch manager, and throughout the summer, she had been opening accounts for recent graduates who have been receiving cash gifts.

The good news is that without exception every young person has mentioned that they have either already written thank yous, or were in the process (several asked my sister for some pointers).

Wow, that is absolutely great, and congratulations to all those parents out there who raised these polite young people.

That is encouraging to hear!

Every grad party I've been to for the last 5 years, I've received thank-you notes (except one and I didn't get a thank you for the wedding gift either ;) ). And I've been to a lot of grad parties in 5 years time!
