Mum's recipe for drool worthy marinade:

3/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
3  teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoons dried thyme
3 tablespoons Dijon  mustard
2 tablespoons honey

Mix this all together in a zip lock bag, stick in your lamb chops, seal the bags. You can either leave them in the fridge for 24 hours before you grill them, or you can pop them in the freezer and haul them out a couple of weeks later when you need them. Mum tends to buy a stack of chops and make up batches for freezing.

This maranade also works very nicely with those big brown mushrooms. although in that case, only soak for about 25 mins and then grill.

That does sound delicious, with both the lamb and mushrooms. I'm putting that on my "must try" list.  ;D

I bet that would be bomb on thick slices of eggplant, too.
