Millicent, i am so sorry about your mom. I can only imagine how hard it must be. Your co-worked ....uhg ... what was she thinking? What a mean thing to say.

I'm deeply sorry for your loss :( :::HUGS:::

I think you handled things quite well.  I imagine I would have flown out of my chair and tackled her to the ground, fur flying.  What she did was SO wrong it boils my blood!  And I haven't even dealt with losing a parent yet.

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.  Sending more hugs, and some chocolate.

I'm sorry you lost your mom. 

I think you handled your coworker well.  You made your point without being rude and it sounds like she got the message.  I bet next time she'll think before she speaks.
