Pigs in a Blanket for us was a weekend breakfast - my dad would make small pancakes and he'd wrap them around a breakfast sausage link and give us a little bowl filled with syrup to dip them in.

It wasn't until I was an adult that I found out about the cocktail franks and the pastry versions.
