This story is about a past Thanksgiving, but the sentiment holds.

I had just started a new job after being unemployed for about a year, and didnít have the funds available to fly to either my parentís house in Oregon or my sis in Texas (Iím in SoCal).

So for Thanksgiving, I made myself the most incredible BLT EVAR!  Splurged on heirloom tomatoes from Whole Foods and great bacon.  Then talked to my parents over the phone for 2 hours,
so we were still together.  I still consider it one of my best Thanksgivings.
No one ever says, "Why me?!?!" when something good happens.
