Malukah - Reignite

It's her tribute song to the main character from the Mass Effect Trilogy.

Not a song, exactly, but the other night I had "Green Eggs and Ham" stuck in my head and kept making up new verses:

Would you eat them in a truck? Would you eat them with a duck?
Would you eat them in a pond? Would you eat them with James Bond?
Would you eat them on a plane? Would you eat them with John Wayne?

You're welcome.  >:D

Something tells me that now "Let It Go" has won an Oscar, I'll be hearing it a lot more.  I like the song, but I do hope it isn't killed by the kids singing it so much.

At least my middle son has a really good singing voice.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars.  You have a right to be here. Be cheerful, strive to be happy. -Desiderata

In my head?  I do them out and proud!  It very much embarrassed my 8 year old niece when her other aunty and I were discussing where to go for lunch, with actions, in the middle of Sainsbury's.  (We ended up at Pizza Hut)

I have the Happy song by Pharrell Williams.  (And yes, I have seen some of the 24 hour video as well as the offical music video)
I actually like the song.

One that I use to do with a college friend (and I got her on Facebook a couple weeks ago with it.)
For background.  We were able to see some speakers for free if we got to the event early enough and were willing to usher.  We were at a comedian's show and he did a thing with the opening song for National Geographic specials.  Then later in the show he started the first 5 notes and the entire audience sang the rest back at him.  Instant mass earworm.  I use to call friend's phone and leave her voice of me signing it.
So the old National Geographic song

Is that where the song comes from? I learned it from folk singer Mike Agranoff, who does verses about dogs and cars. I invented my own verses about U.S. presidents, states and beer.

It's DS' fault.  He loves that flipping song. Drives me mad.

"Everything is Awesome"  from the Lego movie.  It's playing on continuous loop in my head!  Every time i just about get away from it, one of the kids starts singing it.  Ugh.

"Dumb Ways To Die", which is a safety promotion by Metro Trains in Melbourne, Australia.  The writers must have deliberately picked the most ear-wormiest tune and lyrics for their message.

Set fire to your hair
Poke a stick at a grizzly bear
Eat medicine that's out of date
Use your private parts as piranha bait

Dumb ways to die
So many dumb ways to die
Dumb ways to die-ie-ie
So many dumb ways to die

Bearing in mind that it is March...

...this morning's earworm was...

"I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus".

No.
Just..
No.
