can I do anything with leftover steak?

Unfortunately it didn't come out great, first time I ever made steak. It's not terrible, just not *wow*. I have one whole and about one third slices left.  Any suggestions or should I just toss

I'd slice it thin and sauté with onions and green peppers or veggies for fajitas or a stir fry.

Using leftover steak to make a steak sandwich is often my preferred way of doing it. You can slice it thin and top it off with cheese. Melted cheese hides a multitude of sins.

I do that with really good leftover steak sometimes, too, but generally skip the cheese (or at last go easy on it). :)

We love steak salad.

Here's a good one:

A creamy blue cheese dressing is also good on a steak salad.

You can throw it into a soup if it's tough - cooking in liquid will soften it up.  If it's just bland, you can just add more spices to it before you heat it up again.

My husband cuts it up and pan fries it for "steak and egg" breakfast.

Yup - agree with others to slice thin and serve with eggs, fajitas, and such.  Just be sure to only warm it, not cook it further, otherwise it will get tougher.

Enjoy!

I chop it fine and make it into hash with potatoes and eggs.  I also like it as a mexican filling for burritos or tacos.

Cut small or chop, add tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, onions, garlic, and beans for chili.

Slice it, then stir fry it with veggies and serve over rice.

I'd slice it up and cook it with some veggies and lime juice and make beef fajitas.

What have you got? Is it food? Is it for me? I want it whatever it is!

I'd do a stir fry or fajitas, too.  But since the steak is already cooked, I'd cook the veggies up to almost done and then throw in the steak so it just gets heated back through.  If you cook it from the beginning with the veggies, it might get really tough.
After cleaning out my Dad's house, I have this advice:  If you haven't used it in a year, throw it out!!!!.

too many ideas! i'll have to get more steak.

I sliced thinly, then cut into little bites, then reheated in a lovely mushroom/red wine sauce (*) - came out perfectly.

thanks!
(*) ETA - i had made the sauce the night before to serve with the steak.
