On a related note for this thread - we recently moved and I spent a lot of time over the summer trying to sort and organize stuff.

While going through some old boxes in our "stuff we need to file" pile, I found the booking sheet for our wedding DJ.
Since we were married in 1988, you can safely assume I am a bit behind on my filing.  ::)

In addition to the requests for the first, second and third dances, there is a note to the DJ to the effect of "No Chicken Dance, Macarena, Whitney Houston or Kris Kristofferson."

Funnily enough, we have retained our desire to avoid for those items for the last 26 years!

Unchained Melody drives me bonkers.
Saturday Night
Every Breath you take (stalker song)
Steps - Tragedy
Dreams can come true (which only because I am certain the lyrics were "Green cockatoo, pieces of eight and a barnacle too you know you have to heave ho you know you have to reach shore)

Not a dance song, but my sister was not amused when I suggested "Take Up your Cross" as a hymn for her wedding.  ;D
