I don't wear makeup, either - never have. A friend in college was just shocked that I didn't own any, so she dragged me to the mall and we got some basic makeup in neutral tones for me (just lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow), and I wear that if DH and I are going to a fancy function. I also wear glasses most of the time, and only wear contacts for special occasions (I'm just too lazy to spare the extra 5 minutes in the morning . . .), and I wear my hair long or in a ponytail.
My DH loves my look best first thing in the morning, when my hair is still messed up and I'm in rumpled pajamas. (I love his "bed-beard" look, too - I guess other men with beards must have the same thing, but I've never been in the situation to find out!) When DH and I first started dating, I wore my contacts a lot to "look my best" - but *me* is blind as a bat and doesn't care about makeup, so I appreciate that he loves me the way I am. I do try to wear decent clothes and some jewelry so I don't look like a complete slob, but makeup is NOT required to be a "real woman." I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this.
