Is this considered regifting?

Before I start I should probably give some background. My parents live on a farm and my dad is one of those "outdoorsy" type of guys. His hobby is trapping coyotes and foxes and he has a few friends who do this as well.

Anyways, a friend of my parents came to visit one day and gave my dad a mink that he had found on the road. Even though it had been hit by a car it was still in relatively good shape and he thought of my dad.

My dad dosen't have the facilities for skinning animals yet. He does have another friend that does it so he gave the mink to him as a "Christmas gift." But he also gifted friend #2 with a very nice personal present.

Afterwards my mom and I teased my dad about regifting the mink. But then I began wondering if it actually did count as regifting.

What do you say e-hellions?

TechGirl:
I don't think it's re-gifting.  It's giving it to someone who might better appreciate it and could make use of it.

MadMadge43:
ksk4 is right on the money there. But seriously, how many people get to say they regifted a dead animal and the receiver was thrilled!

madmusician:
LOL, I don't think dead animals count  ;)

Especially for the outdoorsy types who (probably) don't have as much use for etiquette as we lovely ladies do

Alida:
If it is, it's the best regift EVER!
