Clarification:

This person had read her column online prior to it appearing in print the following day. He found a minor mistake which launched him into a vitriolic, sexist email.  The corrected column appeared in the paper the following day.  (If his tirade had appeared online, it would have been deleted immediately.)

Since it was an email, she responded saying something like this:  She has no problems with corrections, but not from sexist, misogynists like him.  >:D  lol  He did apologize, sort of.

It's odd that he would have had such a reaction to her error.  Sounds like he doesn't like the idea of a woman sportswriter and couldn't wait to attack her verbally.  But DD isn't upset anymore.  Over and done with.  Thank you for all your responses.
