Briefly: I ordered a Cd on December 5 from Amazon marketplace. It has yet to arrive. It was supposed to be shipped by the 7th (per Amazon, who sent me an email), and even figuring in mail delays was supposed to be here by the 26th at the very lastest. I wrote the seller last night and said something to the effect of:
Hi,
I have yet to receive X (I included the receipt). The PO has no trace of it*. Please help me resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
Thank you,
XXXXXX
The response from the seller's husband was:
XXXXXX,
Please be patient. My wife had a baby less than a week ago. It should be there soon. if it isn't, we will give you a refund.
YYYYYYY
Does this seem a little off to anyone else? I appreciate how hard it must be to have a newborn at home, but what does that have to with something that happened a month before the baby was born? Also, I would call waiting a month to ask fairly patient behavior, so that sort of bugs me.
How should I respond? Any help most appreciated.
* It's a college PO, they wouldn't have sent it back.
