The Notebook. The book AND the movie. I am not endeared to a woman who lies to her fiance to run off and search out her first love. Sorry.

Also, Pearl Harbor. It's been years since I've seen it, but the whole love story line in that movie was just way too Jerry Springer-ish for me. *ick*

HATE it!

Then you should totally go here and have a good laugh:

It's a very short little skit showing scenes from an episode of Stargate Atlantis, in which Celine Dion starts playing (added by the person who made the video), and everybody starts holding their heads, having nosebleeds, etc.

I laughed hysterically!

I hate Dane Cook with a passion. I was starting to think that I was some sort of dolt, but then Rolling Stone published an article about how he wasn't funny, and how most of his material was a rip-off of someone else.
I hate Star Trek, all Star Trek, every Star Trek. And growing up in the house with my Trekkie brother I've seen them all. Ack.
I hated Jerry Maguire. Thought it was tedious and boring in the extreme. I hate When Harry Met Sally, and Sleepless in Seattle. I am not really much on chick flicks, I hate the sappy happy endings.
I hated It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 24th St (or whichever number it is) and I really hate all these new torture/horror flicks. They are not scary, they are stupid!
I hate anything by the Wayans brothers, I hate Jim Carrey and I hate reality shows (but I do watch Celebrity Paranormal on VH1).
And I hate, I mean HATE that Gnarls Barkley song "Crazy"....why does everyone love that song??? It's hiddeous!!!

Borat.  I'm pretty sure I was the only one in the theater NOT laughing my head off.  My darling darling BF (who offered to leave TWICE because he knew I wasn't enjoying it) described the look on my face this way:

"You know the way your mom would look when one of your friends did something REALLY dumb? Like she wished it was in HER power to discipline the kid? Well that's how you looked - like you wanted to put him in time out or take away his phone for a month."

For awhile we were saying that Sacha Baron Cohen is my arch nemisis but the ironic part is that I really liked him in The Ballad of Ricky Bobby so I've decided that it's actually Borat who is my nemisis.

P.S. I also hate Forrest Gump, Pretty Woman, Tom Petty....his voice just GRATES and Gwen Stafani

Oh, I forgot! I hated Friends, thought it was the dumbest show ever. And I hated Seinfeld. I hated Urkel (whichever show that was) and I hate Full House. And 90210.

If it came from Hollywood chances are i hate it. It's to the point my friends know not to listen to my opinions anymore because i think everything sucks. I'm not being contrary, i really just can't stand most of the stuff that comes out ... chick-flicks, comedies, action ... there is usually something i will hate. Kids movies & sci-fi have a better chance than most. Anything with Jim Carrey in it i know i won't like, and most comedies make me want to stick a chopstick through my eye. When Mr. HGish & another couple we hang out with want to tease me they threaten to turn on Spaceballs & make me watch it.

...and add me to the The DaVinci Code list, too. Bo-RinG!
It's alright, man. I'm only bleeding, man. Stay hungry, stay free, and do the best you can.

Saw Brokeback Mountain, just didn't see what the big hype was all about. It was sooo hyped up as the best movie ever made, how it got robbed of the Oscar, blah, blah, blah. Please. It was a good movie, but it wasn't all that is was hyped up to be. And it certainly wasn't robbed of an Oscar, Crash was simply a more superior and solid film. It really turns me off how studios and producers are hyping up their movies into oblivion lately in order to get Oscar nods. For instance, I want to see Dreamgirls, but I'm getting so turned off by all the hype that is being made about it and Jennifer Hudson. I'll still go see it at a matinee next week, but I'm getting jaded just because all of the fuss made about it.

I can't give you an honest opinion on "The English Patient", I feel asleep in the theatre.  I also didn't think "Borat" was all that funny.  I'm not a fan of "South Park" or any other comedy that tries to offend as many people as possible.

I don't like Colin Farrell, he's a nice looking guy, but nothing exceptional and he's such a womanizer that I have no idea why women like him.  Matthew McConahay (sp.) never did anything for me either.

There is a lot of music that is popular that I don't like.  Almost all rap music I can't stand, yet it is so often played on the radio and even has radio stations that play almost only rap.  Eminem is one example of a particular artist I really don't like who is very popular.

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.  I had to read it because everyone I know keeps throwing out quotes from it and talking about it like it was the best thing ever, and I hated it.

I'm a known slash fan, and even I didn't much like that movie. It's pretty, but how much scenery can one look at before there's a thing called a PLOT? And the only sex scene is rather boring. And you have to fastforward 42 minutes to get to it. ;D

I read the story before the movie was made, and I have to say, I didn't like the story either. The way things were described made me feel like I had to take a bath. And it was so depressing. Stories to slit your wrists by; no thank you. I'll stick to slash where people live (unrealistically, and I don't care!) happily ever after.

I'll be waiting for rotten tomatoes to be thrown at me after I post this, but I could never stand either The Christmas Story or...(drumroll)... It's a Wonderful Life.
