well THIS sounds familiar
« on: January 10, 2007, 09:16:40 AM »
I was looking at an online advice column this morning and saw this letter (2nd one down)http://www.earlygirl.com/vinetoday.shtml  is it just me or does this sound very similar to a thread that was opened not that long ago? Some of the details are different but not so much that I didn't go hmmmmm.  What do you think of the advice Sars gave?

It's the exact same story....weird.
I have to agree with SARS though, I mean why is she listing all this stuff that they did to her? Tit for tat, maybe?
And who wears someone else's bathing suit?? Ewwww....
I have finally found the bar I can't get thrown out of....

I have to say, I LOVE Sars.  She does a better job as a casual advice columnist than most who are paid to do it.

Also, she's a very funny writer.  I particularly like it when she writes about her cats:

Also, I'm unfortunate in being blessed with a bunch of wonderful friends, because that means I don't know anyone who needs to read this: http://www.earlygirl.com/over25.shtml

And another favorite: http://www.earlygirl.com/youare.shtml

LOOOOOVE Sars.  I have to stop now or else I'll end up linking to every essay on her site.

Okay, one more Sars-related site - snarkiness at its best:  www.televisionwithoutpity.com

Not familiar to me.  But on the one regarding Colorado songs, why didn't someone mention my favorite, Someday Soon.  Hmph!
I've never knitted anything I could recognize when it was finished.  Actually, I've never finished anything, much to my family's relief.
