I am printing that gas station sign and having my students fix it as an assignment - real life proof that what I am teaching counts.

(And yes this has been proved false/photoshopped by Snopes but I love this series!)

Funny thing is, I remember in the movie Chocolat, there's one character who is told, by a Catholic priest, that his dog won't go heaven because dogs don't have eternal souls but then chides him for giving the dog sweets during Lent.

Course that took place during Vatican I so it could be they've shifted their policy on such matters.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars.  You have a right to be here. Be cheerful, strive to be happy. -Desiderata

That series is photoshopped (note the same cars in the background of each Catholic image) but it's hilarious anyway!

I think this one is both combination of sign and display. Figured all the librarians and bookstore people would appreciate it.

I had a label on some pudding rice which amused me.

It read:-

PUDDING RICE
(Ideal for rice pudding)

I saw one today on a Community bulletin board.

Someone was offering what seemed to be a rather nice exercise bike for free.  Part of the poster said, 'It glares at me from the corner.  I want to be able to enjoy my chocolate without its censorious gaze'.

LOL.  Love it.
After cleaning out my Dad's house, I have this advice:  If you haven't used it in a year, throw it out!!!!.

Haha.  Subtle!
"After all this time?"
"Always."

Just saw another good one outside a wine shop.

'Be nice to champagne.  It's under a lot of pressure.'

On one of those funny sign montages: "Please Control Your Children (their manners reflect your love for them)"
You must remember this: a ghoti is still a fish...
