Yet another disclaimer:

Has anyone seen that car commercial that shows a car riding on two wheels on the ledges of buildings?

The disclaimer says something to the extent of "Cars cannot drive on buildings, this is a fantasy".

What a relief!

LOL...I haven't seen it, but I can imagine.

Mr. H. always laughs at the car commercials where they have their car doing these fantastic things like crashing through snow banks without slipping or spraying an arc of water as they turn on a dime (without hydroplaning) suggesting that YOU TOO will be able to do this....and then this little itty bitty little disclaimer shows up on the bottom.  "Professional driver on closed course.  Do not attempt."  LOLOLOLOL

They should stop putting all those warnings on things. It's impeding survival of the fittest...

I have seen that discalimer (professinal driver one) even on the commercials where they just show them driving down a road - nothing special - no speed - or crashing, etc.

the truly sad part is that for them to even think about putting those disclaimers on things is that someone had to do it once.

In the UK we have a similar car ad with very large "small print" givign a blow by blow account of why following the driving technique (jumping off buildings and such) is unsafe.
Gems include "performed by proffessional drivers on a closed course" for driving a bit fast and "produced with computer graphics" for a rediculous jump. What if I want to jump off a building without computer graohic? It didn't specifically tell me not to. I just need to get me some computer graphics.
