We took BabyDrifter to visit my grandparents on their farm, and she spotted the lemon tree the second she was out of the car - before we could stop her she had one.
Didn't even wait for us to cut it up!
... it might frighten them.

So cute, baby Drifter.

Adorable!  I love her little outfit, too.  Did she actually finish the lemon?  :D

She eventually was persuaded to give it up to be sliced and ate 3/4 of the inside parts (much to the astonishment of her great-grandparents).

Ladyknight, I love, love Northern Georgia. My grandparents retired in the northeast corner of the state and I've been tromping around the state parks and rural routes since I was a little girl. The sloping end of the Appalachians is so pretty.

My younger son now has a web site. I posted some of his pictures above, but here's a link to some on his web site. This is a second gallery there, of his structural pieces.

I love his vision!  I really like Allusion to Water.  Also, you were right about the noses.

Thank you all! We're pretty proud of him and know that he's going to grow in his art.  The only question is how we're going to be able to afford art school for him!

In the "Things that have made you happy" thread I mentioned getting some costume parts for our visit to Dapper Day at Disneyland. Here are Mrs.k2002 and me at the event.

For those of you who are going to ask, Mrs.k2002's hat came from The Village Hat Shop in San Deigo. Excellent service -- they shipped very quickly.

It is lovely hat!  I think you are correct that a number of people will want to know where she got it.   :)

I definitely think you both nailed the 'dapper' part.
After cleaning out my Dad's house, I have this advice:  If you haven't used it in a year, throw it out!!!!.
