To give you an idea of how big this sucker is, that tool box is 5 feet tall.

Most mechanics work on trains, planes, or automobiles... I think my job is a bit cooler.

ETA - It is the gun from an A-10.  I forgot to put that in there :-[

Looks like the Gatling gun from an A-10 Warthog.  Cool!

Here's the first (almost finished) project related to my latest obsession, amigurumi (small, hand-crocheted stuffed dolls):

Yes, it's a gnome doll! I need eyes for it before I crochet it all together and stuff it, but so far it's cute!

Here are some pictures from our vacation so far:

This is my two kids with my brother-in-law and my niece in the pool this morning...

And these were yesterday at Epcot:

I finally finished the gnome - I put together everything but the feet last night, and sewed the feet on between calls this morning at work. Quality is still bad because I used my cellphone; I have a feeling I'll have to break down and buy a new digital camera because the cellphone's just not cutting it!

We took the kids to Land Between the Lakes here last weekend (when it was warm). They had a really good time and I got some adorable pictures.

And here are some pictures of DS playing in the snow for the first time. He did pretty good at riding his sled.
