SP looks strangely like my friend Mary's DH. Funny!

Is he 5'2" and half Japanese too?
I am grateful for the friends I have made on EHell and everything I have learned, but it is time I move on.

I made a gingerbread house based on a summer cottage my family used to own. It's the most ambitious one I've made and the best, though it's not as good as I hoped it would be. It took six days to make and lots of angst (Christmas isn't good for my mental health) but in the end I'm quite happy with it even though the only thing it has to do with Christmas is the gingerbread :)

I have more pictures of the process here.

No, he's about 5'8" and French-Canadian. Must just be the pictures :D.

My two dogs, Georgie and Sally (Sally is the pup). We were marveling at how Sally is pretty much Georgie's clone, then we found out upon receiving Sally's pedigree that her mom was in Georgie's litter. (We got them from different places!)

One more. This was the first day Sally met her "aunt" Georgie.

How cool!  And they're both so cute!  :)

Ah!  I found the connection.  SP's other half is French-Canadian and Irish!

Bonny's on the left, and Jack's on the right.

The Early Years:  That's my mom in the middle holding my bro, who was a newborn.  I'm on Mom's left, and Older Sis is on Mom's right.  Younger Sis wasn't born for at least four more years.  This was taken in late 1961/early 1962 right before we left for Japan.  As you can see my mother was not having a really good day.
