T'Mar!  I love those pics!  Wow!  ;D

That's a really good camera - it's an Olympus 4.0 megapixel and it's fantastic. I'm only an amateur photographer but I've worked hard to take decent pics. Last year the school didn't get someone to take official school photographs, so the only photo my class got of themselves was the collage I made on my computer (more of less the same as the one from this year, only I had 7 more kids last year.

This is a picture of my Moms driveway. I just love how the trees line the drive. Just looks so pretty.

This is a pic my DD took. I think it turned out really cool

Ohhh my goodness, ItzWhoUKnow! I am so jealous!

My current goal in life is to be a tour guide at Neuschwanstein....  :)

I absolutely loved Rothenberg, but I have to admit, my favorite bit was the crime and punishment museum. That was fabulous.

Okay, I've got some pictures to share.
I took them in Dorset last year.

This is the rather beautiful Blue Pool. Minerals in the water make it this luminous blue colour.

This is just a sea view but I loved the shape of the bay.

This has been my desktop background for ages. It's a combination of a gorgeous blue sky and artistically arranged trees!

I love Rothenburg too. I was so sad when my friend (she's German but married to a US soldier)moved to Illesheim after her hubby came back from Iraq. Before she moved on post, she lived right off the square.
We still go there all the time but now I don't get to meet her for breakfast we just go to Bad Windsheim to have breakfast since it's closer.

I must confess that we haven't been to Neuschwanstein. We've been to Linderhof many times but we've been saving Neuschwanstein for when the boys get a little bit older. Both are on the Autism Spectrum and we know that the younger one couldn't handle the tour.
The last time we were at Linderhof, he freaked out about going up the stairs so I took him out and sat on a bench in the snow and let him put together his Kinder Egg toy.
But it's never too late to correct the faults so many others made ~Midtown

Great pictures!  I think I'll post a few more...

This was taken in NY two summers ago.  We were on Liberty Island, and this was the view of Manhattan...it's hazy, but I think I actually like it better like this!

Me hiking at a state park a few months ago

The next two were taken in January 2006, as I was driving up to my aunt's cabin for the last time. :'(

My favorite:

Hmm, the last two are much more impressive when used as the background of a 17" monitor... ;-)

Here he is the day of my wedding - in his little collar and bow tie LOL

And Beau as the KPAK spokesdog :D

And one of Bella .. she looks so grumpy ;)

And some dogwood trees at the Philbrook museum in Tulsa

YAY! I am so glad there is some interest here for the photo thread, and I am a nature girl all the way! I love the hawks, they are so beautiful aren't they? As you will see in the photos, I live in a great big meadow. In the summer, mice and other rodents abound, so the Marsh Hawks are EVERYWHERE!

This herd of Elk is called the Takhini Herd, named after the river that runs about 500m away from my house. The first picture is when they are wayyyyy on the other side of the yard from my house. I estimate about 110 of them as I got about half of them counted and gave up at 55!

<waving at FWG>  Please email me the full res image file of the elk herd.  I have a folder for just for you in my screensaver program ;-)

<headbutts to Midnight Kitty> Aloha friend! I will email the pic to you from home. Unfortunately I am not sure if I have that one in high res but if I do, it will be on its merry little way to my folder on your puter!

By the way... how very flattering that I have my own folder, thank you! Uh oh... my office seems to be shrinking... ack... oh no! It's my head swelling!  ;D

This is a (bit of a blurry) shot of the bamboo forest in Maui

This one's the early morning mist rising out of the Haleakala crater (we went horseback riding into the volcano)

And this is a sleepy sea lion at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco

Aquigoth:  Do you live on Maui?

We live in Waikiki.  I'll see if I can find small image files & post them here.

I live in Waikiki & the view is of Mo'ili'ili and Manoa Valley with the Ko'olau Range in the background.

This is my favorite view from my lanai.  I love the way sunset colors the clouds.

One of Manoa's famous rainbows.  Remember, no rain, no rainbows  8)

Here's my DH with our filly, Misty:

Update:  My goodness those came out small!  I'll see if I can make them bigger, but don't hold your breath.  This may take awhile ...

Edited 5/9/07 because I think I figured out how to make 'em bigger.
