And to be fair, here is a picture of DH in '83.

These days the oldest one looks like a pretty good mix of DH and I but when he was a baby everyone said he was the spitting image of DH. They haven't stopped saying that about the middle pirate.

Probably because middle pirate is the spitting image of his daddy as a boy.  The acorn didn't fall far from the oak tree.  Back before it was considered politically incorrect, we used to say, "Dad didn't need a paternity test for that one."

LOL! Yep.  The only thing that child inherited from me is my eye color, freckles, and ADD.   

And with taking the wee one out into the sunshine the last couple days, his hair is starting to really turn ginger, which he might have gotten a bit of from both sides, as MIL's oldest two half sisters were redheads and let's just say that when I saw Ron Weasley in Prisoner of Azkaban I thought "Holy carp, it's Uncle Bud!" (my youngest uncle)

I just discovered that my camera has editing software  :-[

However, this also means I can replace the color in the shot that was lost in transit via camera. This was from a storm we had almost two weeks ago:
