Etiquette Hell
News: "Manners are the happy ways of doing things; each one a stroke of genius or of love, now repeated and hardened into usage, they form at last a rich varnish, with which the routine of life is washed, and its details adorned. If they are superficial, so are the dew-drops which give such a depth to the morning meadows."  - Ralph Waldo Emerson, "The Conduct of Life"

Maybe...forever!

When you register for forum membership, you will be required to agree to the forum rules before you can proceed to the next step of registration.    Once your agreement has been submitted, you will receive an automated email message thanking you for registering to join the forum and informing you that another email will arrive directing you to validate your email address.  Before the second email occurs, the moderators review your registration before approving or rejecting it.

Reasons for registration rejection can include having an identical ISP as a previously banned troll, having a suspicious or forum inappropriate user name or email address, or any number of reasons that lead a moderator to believe you may not be a suitable member of the forum.

Once you receive the second validation email, you are required to take action to validate your email address by clicking on the link in the email.  Failure to do this will result in you not finalizing your forum registration.  Do not email a moderator or forum administrator asking us to bypass the email validation process because we will not do it.  If you fail to validate your email address promptly, you will receive a third "reminder" email.  Unvalidated membership requests are deleted from the system after a month and you will have to start the registration process all over again.

Emailing the forum administrator to rudely demand to know when you'll be approved ("When the hell am I going to get approved?") is the kiss of death and your registration will be rejected as fast as humanly possible.
