False.  I didn't go to work today.

TPBM is relieved to have finally finished a 4546 mile drive across the US (Seattle, WA area to Miami, FL area with side trips through San Diego, Houston and Atlanta) without ANY mechanical issues in a 14 year old car.

Yes, and now I'll have to have him bouncing around the house impatiently until next Tuesday morning.  His favourite new expression recently is "Is Christmas ever gonna get here?"  And he's almost fourteen, for heaven's sake...

The person below me wants snow for Christmas.  Just a little snow.  Is that too much to ask?

No, not even a flake. (I love to look at snow, but I hate to drive in it-)

TPBM is finished with everything involved with Christmas. Finally. Yay! :)

False - I'm still making mince pies (it's the third lot - my DH keeps eating them!)

TPBM is debating whether they need to do more last minute shopping.

False. I without a doubt have to do some last minute shopping.

The poster below me really wants another dog.

True.  Actually, tomorrow a friend and I are going to the shelters to pick out a puppy for my kids.

TPBM is having huge issues adjusting to South Florida weather again, after living in the frozen north for a couple years.

No, but I'm willing to give it a good ol' college try! :) It's currently exceedly windy here in Louisville right now, and the temps are falling, and some slight snow (erk!!) is being called for. (I can be packed and down to visit you in short order!!)

TPBM is enjoying a quiet, peaceful day at home, with the tree lit up, the kitties snoozing, and.....wait....listen.....not a sound.

I wish! One of my cats is a kitten, and when it's quiet, it usually means something very...unfortunate is about to happen.

TPBM is going to have seltzer & salad for dinner, due to hitting the candy gift baskets at work a little too hard today.   ::)

True! Our company got lunch from this lovely locally owned restaurant where the chef uses all local and seasonal ingredients...the chef also makes peanut-butter-fudge-stuffed cookies! Drool...

TPBM gets a little choked up at the end of Home Alone when Kevin's mom comes home.
Sell crazy somewhere else, we're all stocked up here.

True! That's such a sweet ending to the film.

TPBM loves to turn off the house lights at night and watch the Christmas lights twinkle.

Totally true!  Nothing better than snuggling down on the sofa with a cozy blanket in front of the tree. Husband and cats optional but always welcomed.

TPBM got to see their favorite cousin today. (Visiting from out of state.)

Nice! What an excellent idea; I may do this tonight.

TPBM really misbehaved at lunch today--ugh.
