TPBM is so excited about the first gifts of Christmas and can't wait to open the rest of the gifts! (I got a flashing Christmas lights necklace, pens, a spiral notebook, and an iTunes gift card in my stocking)

Yes.  Isn't that a much nicer way to honor the victims than sending Teddy bears to a quite affluent community?  It also makes an excellent New Year's resolution.

Honestly, probably not. We don't write TY notes if the gift is opened in front of the giver. Although....I do need to do one for a lovely bottle of wine that was left on the back porch.

False, but I am cleaning.  My mother has recently had major surgery and hasn't been able to keep her house up like she likes it.  I'm working on rectifying that for her.

TPBM is looking forward to a motorcycle trip to the Florida Keys after the new year!

Sadly, false. The weekend will be filled with nothing but football on television, and therefore yet another bout of soul-crushing marital disappointment.

TPBM is considering taking a class on weekends for learning how to sew for pleasure and profit.

TPBM is trying desperately to ward off the strep throat that she got from her husband over Christmas (who got it from his father the previous weekend).

False, thank heavens.  I think that if anyone is trying to ward off any illess in my household, it's my husband and/or my son, who probably want to avoid the horrid gastoenteritis that I picked up as a bonus Christmas gift.  Merry Christmas, me!
