Any Name Changes?

On the Delphooey boards, I was MelJill because the only way to use my first name was to append a whole bunch of meaningless numbers (the numbers that meant anything were also taken).

With the registration difficulties on the middle board, I went to MJill.

Now I'm back to my original.

I went from Tabris02 to Tabris, since the "02" was a holdover from when I couldn't get just plain ole Tabris on Yahoo. The 02 came from Gatchaman fandom, where Joe was the G-2. (don't ask why I didn't go with Tabris-G2 or Tabris0002. I would say abject stupidity, but then I'm not sure how I'd describe the rest of my life.)

Tabris is the main character of my first novel, The Guardian.

I've posted under introductions and I've also tagged on a couple of postings that I've changed my username to Auntie Venom. I was Chattmomma. I think Vegakitty changed her name too. Anyone else change up?

I decided to stick with KeenReader-it's just easier for me to remember than a new combination of letters and numbers.  I tend to have problems when I have to memorize lots of usernames and passwords.

Me, too, on both counts. Without a "friend" option (even though i didn't use it much when it was availabe) or as many profile options i am having a hard time keeping track of who is who. On any other board i wouldn't care, but this one is special.

I am guilty of changing names, too, sort of. On the other i was mellliemel or hobgoblinish, or melliemel with hobgoblinish (or chompchomp p'chooey chomp) as a nick-name because i was one of the people who didn't figure out the nick-name option right away. I originally registered on this forum as mellliemel, but decided to go with hobgoblinish instead. It worked out ok, though. I like hobgoblinish; it has a good likelihood of not needing numbers if i ever want to use it elsewhere.
