Forbidden Error 403

I was attempting to write another post (in the thread about reading as a chore), but keep getting a "Forbidden on this server" error.  This has been going on for almost two hours now.

Are you still having the problem?  I got it once when I created a boo boo trying to change the forum URL this afternoon but not since.

Across the top of the browser bar is the Error 403.

I'm going to look for another thread w/in that folder and see if I can post there.  So far, I seem to be able to post in this folder.

Hmm, because you seem to be the only person reporting this glitch, it may be a problem with your computer.  See if clearing your internet temporary files or even rebooting helps.  Before doing this, make sure you are at this url  www.etiquettehell.com/smf   

ANother reason may be that your activation occured during that 30 minute period when I messed up the forum URL and the forum was in this nebulous ether between two locations.  In other words, your activation occured at www.ehell.com/forum and now it won't let you do anything on this URL.   I could be completely wrong about that but nonetheless, you may have to reregister.

But no longer?  I can understand having the problem while it was happening with the forum and even continuing until you logged out and relogged back in later. 

I had trepidations as I was about to make the URL switch.  It had been so easy to do with the previous forum that I could not imagine why it wouldn't work with this one.  I had to change some pointers in the forum settings file but even that didn't work.  Oh, well, I should listen to my gut feelings more often.

OK, cleared all caches & rebooted ... still having that issue w/ that one thread.  However, since it's the only thread I can't continue to participate in, I'm not going to go drastic and re-register.

It's odd, for sure, that it's only one thread on the whole forum.

That is odd.  I have no idea what is wrong for you.  I can post and obviously others can, too.
