I'm even a little upset at the demise of standard typewriters. It wasn't fun filling out customs forms this morning; I've never been comfortable printing. A standard electric typewriter would have solved that problem.
I so hate filling out medical forms for new doctors that I have my entire medical history, including present meds, allergies and even family history on my computer; for each new doctor, I update the medications, etc., print it off, take it to the new MD office, fill out my name, address, insurance, etc. on their forms and for everything else, I write "see attached" and give them my medical history document.
Several of my doctors have said, "I wish all our patients would do what you do. It makes our job so much easier." (It's easier on my hands, too.
