Assuming that I had my glasses on, I would grab my watch. It's not the watch that is so important, but when I take it off, I put my wedding and engagement rings on the band and hook it together (I can't wear them when I sleep as my fingers swell). Anyway, my wedding ring is part of my parents' set (Dad gave me both when my Mom passed) and is one of the few pieces of her jewelry that I can wear.
I thought this question was funny when I first read it, as about 2 years ago, the apartment complex across from my old one caught on fire (this was 30 feet from my building, and the fire was moving through the trees). The FD was spraying my building down as a precaution, but DH and I panicked, and started carrying important things (my mom's urn, some clothes, the pets, etc) out to the car just in case we had to get out quick.
We were so panicked that we grabbed our big kennel carrier, and dumped both cats in it together. Boogie still has a complex about it, and to this day, she freaks out and hides whenever she sees that thing come out.
