The Weddings Folder

Hi,

In the weddings folder there are two boards - Etiquette and Wedding Planning. This is new, but I'm guessing they work like this:

'My caterer put a rude plastic topper on our cake!! I was bright red  ' --> Etiquette
'How should I firmly tell Evil Stepsister that she's not invited (because she's unpleasant, and there's the matter of that striptease on the car roof at the last family wedding)?' --> Etiquette

'Here's photos of my bridesmaids's dresses!' ---> planning
'Does this contract with the photographer look OK?' ---> planning

Is that right? I'm a bit muddled.

You are right.  It's an attempt to distinquish wedding discussions into more specialized topics.  Apparently one of the major wedding planning forum sites went down a few months ago and has not come back up so I thought I'd see if there was any interest in expanding the wedding board.  I can foresee a completely separate wedding forum for planning, advice, local groups, etc.

I originally found EHell WAY back when I was first hoping to be planning a wedding (i.e. about a year before DH proposed!).  I read the wedding section religiously up until my wedding, then don't read it as much anymore.  I think having some specialization would be great - I had a lot of questions that I now see everyone has, and the wedding section in the last forum was always so huge - sub-sections would be a lot less daunting.  I'd still love to read about crazy mother-in-laws, but I'm less interested in the questions about how to address invitations (although I was when I was sending out my own!).
