Is there an update? Anonymous letter about Holiday Decorations

If there has been one, I apologize since I missed it.

The thread was about the neighbors who got an anonymous letter telling them not to put up their holiday decorations or have trees visible in their front windows because the writer didn't celebrate Christmas and it offended her to see them.

I'm imagining the neighborhood looking somewhat like Las Vegas at the North Pole in retaliation, but I was curious how it's going and if there were any other letters.

Summrs, i am SO glad you posted this.  i was thinking this exact same thing last weekend when we were putting out our holiday decorations and setting up our Christmas tree in our living room window.

Oh wow no way!!! Where is this post that you speak of I seem to have over looked it.

That is just way off base really. I could understand asking for light to be turned off at a respectable time but to tell someone not to display a tree in a window??

i didn't read the original post about this stupid neighbor.

my response would have been one of these 2 options:

1. feel free to avert your eyes from anything in the world that bothers you, including my Christmas decoarionts. hope you have good medical insurance b/c you're going to be running into a lot of trees and wandering into traffic.

or

2. are you effing kidding me? bugger off!
