My new addiction...SIGH!
« on: January 26, 2007, 03:11:48 PM »
So, I was getting fuel this morning, and I wanted a crispy snack for later in the day and they were out of the Turtle Chex Mix, so I saw a bag of Caramel Bugles.

If you like Salty Sweet things, DO NOT GET THESE, they are ADDICTIVE.  I have begrudgingly shared my little bag with the people in the office, and we all love them, BUT, when a friend made a run to get some more, they were no where to be found.  We called the company, and they are only made to be sold in Vending Machines and in Gas stations/convince stores, they do not sell them in grocery stores...

The nice lady also almost laughed when I started asking about them because she said she had logged over 50 calls about the product in the past few weeks with people asking where to get more!!!

Now I am addicted and have to hope the gas station where I got mine has some more so I can get my "fix".  SIGH!
This is almost as bad as me not being able to get Cherwine here in FL!!!

Anyone else become addicte to a hard to find product???

Yeah - crispy M&Ms. My Mom and I both LOVED those. Unfortunately, not enough consumers agreed and, well, you can't find 'em anymore. I e-mailed the company and received a reply to the effect of, "We're looking into it," so who knows. :)

Oooh, me, too!  I adored those!

My addiction is to moon cakes, though - thankfully I can only get those at a certain time of year, or I'd be as big as the moon!

My poor husband looooooves cadbury chocolate( he's English)
They have stopped lot of sales in Israel, and only a few shops around Jerusalem have the odd bar or two, usually at exorbitant prices( even though I think our Elite chocs are  better.. ;)
so whenever I see aCadbury yummies  in a shop  ,I  pounce on thme  like a mad women  and get him a few to have as a special treat.

Those in the midwest might want to send me a couple dozen Hy-Vee cinnamon rolls from their bakery.

Pleeeease!

My poor sister on the West Coast loves Drake's Devil Dogs.  I mail her some periodically.

Well, then, maybe there's hope  :D  Iuoh, you never know.

I can't exactly relate to being addicted to a hard-to-find food, but I can relate to being addicted to a fifteen-year-old cartoon with an unplanned DVD release.  Is that close enough?

I have become dangerously attracted to Garden Salsa Sunchips. I have threatened my husband's life to touch them....they are addictive....
I have finally found the bar I can't get thrown out of....

Welsh Rarebit from Stouffers. Hardly any grocery store carries it anymore and it's such an easy dinner to make and so yummy, all our friends are now hooked.

Krispy Kreme donuts  :'(!  For some reason they up and left the Houston, TX area.  All the shops closed and I don't see their products anymore in the supermarkets.  Oh well, it's probably for the best health-wise but still I miss my weekly treat!

I'm totally addicted to Downey's potato chips, only to be found in Oakland County, Michigan, and I live in Windsor, without a car, and can't get over there, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! Those things are SO addicting, I wish I could just order them from the factory!

I just discovered a Krispy Kreme outlet store near my apartment in Little Rock.  Thus far, I have resisted going there, and to certain Wal-Marts that sell them.  Hardly anything I need to get (re)addicted to.

A Krispy Kreme opened up here in Penrith a couple of years ago!
The most delicious doughnuts i have ever eaten!!
We dont have them often..but love it when we do!

I dont eat any other doughnut anymore..they just dont even compare. All others taste and feel like bread dough with a bit of icing and sprinkles on top.

KKs are just soooo light and fluffy and warm...Mmmm Doughnut heaven! ;D

Which cartoon is it? There are some that I've been dying to get, too.

Other than cartoons, I really love Laura Secord Chocolate Mint bars. But I haven't seen them around in ages. :(
