So, since TQ made such a big deal about getting a toaster, I sent her one for Christmas! I know, but hear me out. I sent her the most inexpensive one I could find, it just happened to do bagels, $20 for said toaster. Since she lives in Alaska, I emailed her a note that said, "Hey, just so you know, I bought your Christmas gift on Target today, it will be sent to you. I just want to let you know to watch the mail." I was worried it would get lost since that has happened already a couple of times with her mail in Alaska. I also had the gift wrapped with a note that said "Merry Christmas, to Mr and Mrs. TQ.
4 days later, I receive a thank you card (i was surprised how fast it got there!) Get this... on her WEDDING thank you notes! I figure, ok, maybe she didn't have any cards. Then I read inside it. "Thanks for the late wedding gift! Where was my Christmas present? I don't want something for the house!"

So, I sent her an email telling her if she didn't want her Christmas gift, to sent it back, I'd use it. Also that I won't be sending HER anymore gifts. If I sent something it would be something her DH could enjoy/use. Also, that with her attitude I might not send ANYTHING again.
Her response? "I was JUST kidding!"
Somehow, I don't think so...
