I don't think you have to...but if you expect her to be a part of his life, long term, I would.
(because even if there's never a marriage or living together, being on good terms w/ a friends s/o does become important to maintaining a friendship eventually)

But seriously, I would only send a gift to him.  If they are not even living together I wouldn't worry about it at all, she's not your friend, he is.

I never would have ever thought that I would need to send someone's girlfriend, who doesn't live with my friend, and doesn't like me, anything. The thought would literally never even cross my mind.  I have been debating about sending my friend's BF a Christmas card this year, and I really like him!  :)

Don't even think twice about it.  Actually, I would think it was odd if I got a gift from my boyfriend's ex-girlfriend, if we didn't live together.

just to be nice i would send a package to him that contains a a box of goodies for him and another box for her. so he can give it to her. my personally, i'd probably feel a little weird if i was the GF and got a box of goodies mailed to my house by my BFs ex/close friend who i wasn't nice too...i'd be suspicious about the food or wondering how she got my address or why she's being so nice.

if i were in your shoes it would be no skin off my nose to make goodies for her as a nice gesture...can't hurt to be nice to the rude girl since she's with your best buddy, and you see her very infrequently.

me too. include her in the card if you wish, but do not make her her own handmade set of chocolates! Send those to me!
